Our story
My own journey through cancer and years of health challenges led me to explore different ways of supporting the body’s natural recovery and wellbeing. Red light therapy became one of the most valuable parts of my personal wellness journey, and I wanted to share that experience with others.
I founded Sunrise Wellness Studio with a simple purpose: to help people feel better, move better, recover better and improve their quality of life — whether they’re dealing with everyday aches, muscle and joint concerns, recovery challenges, or simply want to support healthier ageing.
It was born from personal experience, built with compassion, and inspired by a genuine desire to help others live healthier, brighter lives.
Why red light therapy
Specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light penetrate the body to support your mitochondria, circulation, inflammation response and tissue repair — helping you look, feel and perform better, naturally.
Rather than focusing on one single concern, it can support a range of wellness goals, from muscle recovery and joint comfort to skin health and healthy ageing. What appealed to me most is that it’s non-invasive, gentle and drug-free, working with the body’s own natural processes rather than introducing medication.
The potential benefits
Supports natural cellular energy (ATP) and healthy cell function.
Supports healthy circulation and oxygen delivery to tissues.
May help reduce inflammation and discomfort.
Supports joint comfort, flexibility and movement.
Helps with recovery, reduces soreness and supports performance.
Supports collagen production, skin texture and overall skin health.
Supports focus, cognitive function, mood and overall mental wellbeing.
What to expect
I want people to feel an immediate sense of warmth, calm and reassurance — genuinely welcomed and listened to, not simply another appointment.
Many people arrive carrying discomfort, stress or fatigue. Sunrise Wellness Studio is somewhere to set that down, relax, and focus on yourself. When you leave, I want you feeling refreshed and positive about the next step towards better health and a brighter life.

Good to know
Red and near-infrared light therapy uses specific wavelengths of light that your body’s cells can absorb. It’s non-invasive, gentle and drug-free.
You relax beside a professional-grade light panel for your session, with the light directed to the area you’d like to support. No needles, no medication and no downtime afterwards.
A warm, calm space and a short chat about what you’d like to focus on, then your session of around 30–40 minutes. Most people find it deeply relaxing.
It varies from person to person and goal to goal. Many clients choose a package and visit regularly for more consistent support — we’ll talk through what suits you.
Most adults enjoy red light therapy, but it isn’t right for every situation. If you’re pregnant, have a light-sensitive condition, or are under medical care, please check with your doctor first. We’re happy to answer any questions before you book.
